Appian Jeronimo 2000

The Jeronimo 2000 is an update of Appian's popular Jeronimo Pro dual monitor card. In place of the Jeronimo Pro's two Permedia 2 chips, the Jeronimo 2000 has double 3Dlabs Permedia 3 128-bit processors and provides dual monitor output from one AGP (1X plus sideband) or PCI slot. It also ships standard with video input capability (PCI only) and features up to 64MB of SGRAM per channel (AGP), a 300MHz RAMDAC, as well as accelerated 2D/3D graphics.

The Jeronimo 2000's exclusive Appian/B1 AGP bridge (developed in conjunction with 3Dlabs) provides superior AGP compatibility to that of other bridged solutions, enabling easier integration and better performance. The card is the only AGP compliant, multi-accelerator, multi-monitor card on the market today. Multi-board support lets you expand your desktop beyond 2 or 4 monitors with multiple boards.

The Jeronimo 2000 card supports DirectX and multi-threaded OpenGL hardware acceleration across dual monitors and can overlay a live video feed from a baseband source (pre-tuned via a TV, VCR, etc.) seamlessly across multiple monitors. DVD/MPEG2 decoding is also supported. The optional Appian TV Tuner provides Jeronimo 2000 users with a complete video input solution, including the ability to select and display broadcast channels with stereo sound on their PC.

The Jeronimo 2000 is fully compatible with Windows 98/NT 4.0 and Windows 2000. The included HydraVision software lets you define the placement of windows and dialog boxes and lets you manage information across multiple monitors while AppianXtras are a suite of multi-monitor specialty tools that allows you to see and do more.

The current pricing for the Appian Jeronimo 2000 is $799 for the 2X16MB card and $999 for the 2X32MB card.
