Toshiba Introduces Flat Face Color Display Tubes
LAS VEGAS -- Nov. 13, 2000 -- Toshiba America Electronic Components Inc. (TAEC) today announced the expansion of its Color Display Tube (CDT) line-up with the introduction of new Flat Face 17- and 19-inch display tubes. Designated M41 and M46, these new CDTs are designed to offer enhanced legibility and reduced eyestrain due to a reduction in reflective light. The new Flat Face CDTs will utilize a variety of Toshiba Corp.'s (Toshiba) advanced technologies to meet the market demand for tubes that are ergonomically designed, environmentally friendly and economically priced.

Toshiba America Electronic Components Inc. (TAEC) with its parent company Toshiba Corp. (Toshiba) Monday announced that it has developed the first host-controller LSI that supports integration of dedicated SD memory card and SmartMedia slots in portable personal computers.
