TUSTIN, Calif., -- Ricoh DMS-Center has announced shipping for its new MediaMaster MP7120, 12X/10X/32X CD-R/RW drive package that supports Ricoh's new 10X CD-RW media. Both the drive packages and media will be available starting in September through the Ricoh CD Online Store, distributors, and through various OEM suppliers.

Priced at $279 (MRP), the MediaMaster package features MP7120A Ricoh ATAPI drive that can record at 12X, rewrite at 10X and read at 32X. The media is priced at $34.99 per 10 disc box.

The package contains the MP7120A drive, general-purpose packet writing software, (Prassi's abCD), and professional premastering/audio/backup software (Prassi's PrimoCD Plus), one Ricoh CD-R disc and one Ricoh high speed 10X CD-RW disc.
